Inspired by "yarn art" from the 60's and 70's, Tako Fibers crewel embroidery kits incorporate texture and color with original illustrations. All of the kits include a hand screenprinted piece of fabric, detailed instructions, stitch instructions, a hoop, a needle, and enough yarn to finish the project!

All kits are made and designed by me, Emily Baier. Tako is the Japanese word for "Octopus" and for "Kite." I am always doing 500 things at once, and I wish I had 8 arms to finish everything AND fly a kite.
